Welcome to my Christmas Fun Site!

We have now closed our postal service for 2011, but you can still request replies by email, this will be open until the 24th December.

If you have used our postal service this year, then thank you.

We look forward to receiving more letters next year.

We have the biggest pile of presents you have ever seen in the factory at the moment.

Head Elf was saying that he doesn’t remember another year like this, the present pile is nearly as big as a football pitch.

We are having to have a pratice of loading up the sleigh to make sure Santa can get all the presents on it. There should be enough room so you don’t need to worry.

Everyone here is getting really excited that the big day is nearly here, are you??

Postmaster Elf has just been in touch with me, he has been organising all the letters that are to be delivered for the 10th of December.

We have got 4 sacks of letters that have to be posted so they arrive on that day.

We have been going through our records and this date is,  by far,  the most popular date ever for sending out the letters.

We were trying to work out that perhaps it is because there will only be 15 days left until the big day!

Must go now as another delivery has just come in and we must go to sort out all the letters.

This week we have been inundated with letters from boys from around the world. The most popular toys that they have requested are scooters.

If only we could use the scooters  aswell, then it could make our job easier.

We are expecting a rush this weekend as it is the first one in December,  so we expect to get another few sacks of mail.

Santa really enjoys reading all the mail, some of the letters are so funny.

He’s sitting in his chair sipping his tea as the temperature begins to rise outside.
It’s moving towards the hottest part of the day. That doesn’t bother Father Christmas, he still likes his tea.Pondering different ideas for opening the box,  he strolls outside with his half drunk mug of tea.
He sits in his deck chair and continues to think about that little wooden box and sip his tea.
The only question  in his mind is How will he get that box open, how will he get that box open.
A few minutes later he quickly put his tea on the little table beside his deck chair and  rushes around the back of the cottage and into his workshop. Rummaging in some jars and pots that are full of all those things that “will come in useful some day”. He fishes out a long thin broken piece of wire. It’s thin, strong and about 20cm long.Excitedly he walks back to the kitchen and picks up the small wooden box. While he was drinking his tea, he remembered the old Japanese puzzle boxes he made for a little boy one year. There was a tiny little hole in one side, when you inserted a piece of wire, you could….. …never mind!!
He brushes the box again, where is that hole ?
Frustrated he turns the box over and over in his hands.
Stupid box!
Where is that hole ?

He takes the box back to his workshop.
Resting it on the bench he studies all the sides carefully. He was sure that there’s going to be a hole.

Leaving the box in his workshop he walks out and fetches his tea, walking back he feels totally deflated. He had found a box, he can’t get it open.
There’s somthing inside and he wants it.

With the amount of post we are getting at the moment, Head Elf has had to make us work the whole weekend.

The elves have been talking amongst themselves and were saying that they can’t believe how many presents they have to make this year.

With now only a few weeks left till Christmas, it is going to be really busy every day. We do like to keep busy and it does make the day go quickly.

There have been so many different toys that have been asked for and some of them are quite big, hopefully we will be able to fit them all on the sledge.

Keep on being good and we update you soon with our progress.

In a tranquil part of Christmas Island where nobody goes except a few crabs, sits a little cottage.
Set back from the beach and surrounded by palm trees, the cottage sits quietly with a little fence around it.
There’s  a small garden around the cottage in which sits a deck chair. As the sun rises on Christmas Island, the sun’s orange light bathes the cottage in a warm glow.
Inside, Father Christmas is asleep.
As the sun begins to stream through the gap in his curtains, he rolls over and begins to stir.
As he wakes up, he looks out of the window to see the warm orange light of the sun.
By now the sun has begun to fade into the yellows which brings the  brightness and warmth characteristic of sunshine. He puts on his slippers and shuffles through to the little kitchen, where a comfortable armchair is waiting for him.
As he flicks on his kettle, he stretches and wonders what adventures he’ll have today.
He chuckles to himself as he remembers the adventures of a few weeks ago.
That little dog !
How it managed to chase the crab with the big claws, without getting pinched he’ll never know!
He remembers the faces of the children, the excitement in their eyes.

Last week the Head Elf found Santas Diary in a pile of books in the back office.

Having asked Santa about it, the Head Elf suggested writing a story about his adventures while Santa was on his holdiays.

Santa went to Christmas Island to enjoy the sunshine for a few months and in the coming days, we will be putting on to  the website his story.

You can read about it on this site as well.

We have just had another full sack of post delivered to us. There have been so many letters from the children around the world, there seem to be more and more each day arriving.

The production line in the factory is now in full flow.

It is going to be a really good year with all these presents we are making. I am just going to have a quick cup of tea and then I can get to read some more letters.

Keep on being good.

Scribe Elf has been working out a list of popular toys this year and so far Toffee the Pony has proved to be very popular.
There have been so many girls that have asked for this, the Head Elf is going to be kept very busy making the ponies.

The boys seem to have asked for loads of different toys this year but the Nintendo DS has got a few requests.

Scribe Elf will let you know next week the most asked for toys.
